Gavimoro began long before online shopping was something anyone had heard of. It started in 1980 at the local markets around Oss, with a stall full of fabric rolls, a pair of good scissors and a genuine love for textiles. For decades, customers came to us to find the right material for a dress they were sewing, a curtain for a new home or a special outfit for a wedding. We learned what makes a fabric drape beautifully, what holds its shape after many washes and what simply feels good against the skin.

That knowledge has stayed with us ever since. In 2023, Johannes and Rachel Princen formalised the business as a partnership, and it became clear that the next step was to share our eye for quality with women far beyond the market square. Gavimoro is the result of that step. Instead of selling fabric by the metre, we now bring you dresses made from the kind of materials we have trusted for over forty years.

Every dress in our collection is chosen with the same care we once gave to each roll of cloth on our stall. We look closely at the fabric, the stitching and the fit, because we know that a dress is only as good as what it is made of. Whether you are looking for something easy for a summer afternoon, a polished piece for the office or a dress that makes you feel wonderful at a special occasion, we want you to open your parcel and feel that it was worth the wait.

We are still a small team of two, and we like it that way. It means we know our collection inside out and we read every message that comes in. If you have a question about sizing, fabric or anything else, just reach out and you will hear back from a real person.

Thank you for visiting Gavimoro. We are proud of where we come from, and we are happy to have you with us for this next chapter.
